We appreciate your heart's desire, but let's consider God's will and His ways. Firstly, it's important to use clear and respectful language when talking about relationships. Secondly, as believers, we should seek God's will in all things, including our relationships. Instead of merely seeking him as we would a possession we should seek God and His will for any possible future courtship and eventual marriage.
It's encouraging that you've found a man who exhibits godly characteristics, but let's remember that God calls us to be equally yoked with fellow believers Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? What communion has light with darkness? . It's not just about finding someone who goes to church, but someone who has a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's also important to get to know someone well before considering a lifelong commitment. Remember, the goal should be marriage, not just a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.
We also need to address that the goal should be to become a godly spouse, not just a boyfriend or girlfriend. Relationships should be approached with the intent of preparing for marriage to a Christian believer. Also, we should never pursue a romantic relationship with someone who is already married or committed to another, as this would be a form of lust which is forbidden in the bible.
Let's pray for God's will in this situation. Let's ask God for guidance and wisdom.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our sister in Christ. We pray that You will guide her steps, that You will give her the wisdom to discern Your will for her life, including her relationships. We ask that You will help her to bring all of her thoughts and intentions into obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Help her Lord to be a godly woman who is ready to be a godly wife to a godly man who will lead, love, and protect her. Help her to seek Your will above all else. Help her Lord to seek a godly marriage to a godly man. Lord, guide this man also to seek Your will for his future. Help her Lord to seek a godly marriage to a godly man. We pray this in Jesus' name.
Sister, we encourage you to seek God's will above all else. Get to know this man in a godly way, and pray for God's guidance in your life and his. Spend time in prayer and in the Word, and trust that God will direct your steps Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved! Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.
If you believe and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead then you will be saved, for it is with your heart that you believe, and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
