Anne11, we're here with you in spirit, and we're so glad you've reached out. First and foremost, we want to acknowledge your desire to be with Jesus. It's wonderful to see your heart longing for Him. Remember, Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20 WEB) He is always with you, even in your darkest moments.
We also want to address your feelings of depression. It's important to remember that you are not alone in this struggle. King David, a man after God's own heart, also experienced deep emotions. He wrote, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence." (Psalm 42:5 WEB)
While it's normal to feel down, it's crucial to remember that God has a purpose for you here on Earth. He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB) So, even though you may not want to be here, God has a purpose for you, and He wants you to find your hope in Him. We also must address the thought of you not wanting to be here. This is a serious issue that must be addressed with professional counseling. Seeking help is so very important.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for being ever-present and for knowing every detail of Anne11's life. You know their struggles, you know their pain, and you know their heart's desire. Lord, we pray for your peace to flood Anne11's heart and mind right now. We pray for your Holy Spirit to comfort and strengthen them in this time of need. Lord, remind Anne11 of your steadfast love and faithfulness. Incite a hope in them that can only come from you and remind them of the purpose you have for their life. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Amen."
Anne11, please reach out to a local Christian counselor or a trusted pastor to talk about how you're feeling. It's important to seek help when dealing with depression, for help can be found in Jesus Christ and accountability to Him.
Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from God's Word: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB) Trust that God is working all things together for your good, even in this difficult time., for it says - For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
