A Journey to a Better Self

Mighty Lord,

I have learned through my own experiences that when I think, "This much is okay," I often stray into sin.
I confess that I continue to repeat the same mistakes. I've realized that greed begins when I compare my situation to others'.
I repent, knowing that Your servant Elisha chose to live a life of intentional poverty.
I have desired what is not mine. Lord, have mercy on me and guide me, for I am weak-willed.
Help me to value what You see in me over what is visible to those around me.
I believe that wealth and honor come from You. Instead of dwelling on the past, help me to look forward and strive to become a better person than I was before.

Please have mercy on those who are having troubles within their families.
Grant them peace, understanding, and reconciliation.
Help them to find strength and comfort in You, and guide them towards healing and harmony.

I pray all these things in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with humble hearts, acknowledging our weaknesses and the times we have strayed into sin. Bless me to know You in truth and fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
