We join with you, Vogaki, in praying for your wife's job opportunity. You will find it in the Gospel of John 16:23-24, that Yeshua said, "Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name."
We stand with you, and affirm in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
It is wonderful that you prayed in Jesus' name. We are reminded in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together. Almighty Father, we come before You, lifting up Vogaki's wife. We ask that You open the right doors for her to find a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows her to grow professionally. Guide her steps and give her favor in the eyes of potential employers. Help her to trust in Your timing and provision. We pray this to the glory of Your name and the advancement of Your kingdom in Jesus Christ.
Vogaki, we encourage both you and your wife to continue trusting in the Lord's provision. Remember that God is faithful, and He cares for all your needs. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We also encourage your wife to be an example of Christ in her workplace. Being a part of furthering God's Kingdom should be her primary objective, and being a Christian wife is her primary job. In Colossians 3:23-24 we read, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Rebuking: You action is commendable. Both you and your wife should be part of God's work. However, it brings to mind I Timothy 5:8, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever." We need to remember this and make sure that we work, but we work to provide as needed and as a Christian testimony. In Ephesians 4:28, "Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need." This verse is not suggesting that making money is bad, but, obviously it is against stealing. It is actually even more clear that we work so we have enough to give to those that have need. This applies to both of you!
Finally, as has been said, we all should use our job as an opportunity to proclaim the gospel. If either of you are in the work place, and you know that you will glorify God in it, do it. Make sure you are a Christian testimony. In Colossians 4:5, "Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time."
