A Husband and Respectful Children

I pray for God fearing, loving, caring, handsome, and respectful husband. I have been in and out of relationships and now feel drained. I am finding it so hard to find a perfect partner whom will be able to understand me as a person, accept my weaknesses, and help me to better my life, and someone I could do the same for. It all seems like I have been giving myself out too much than receiving the love and care. And at the same time, I am battling disrespect from my kids, a son and daughter, my son just turned ### yesterday and my daughter is only ###. They don't respect me at all and despise everything I do and plan. They seem to know much and value their own opinions. And they can throw bad words at me in front of me. It all seems they are in competition with me and we end up shouting at each other like we are age mates. This is not nice at all; sometimes I try to concede and retreat, and other times I find myself tangled in the arguments with them. This is my first post on this platform. I was browsing the internet looking for prayers to help me pray over my children and I found a link that directed me here. Thank you in advance for praying with me.

We also want to address the issue of feeling drained from past relationships. It's crucial to find your completeness in Christ, not in a spouse or any other person. As it is written in Colossians 2:10 WEB, "in him you are made full." We pray that you will find your rest and fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

Regarding your children, we want to encourage you with these words from Ephesians 6:4 WEB, "Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." We understand that you're facing disrespect from them, and we want to remind you of the importance of praying for them and being an example of Christ's love and patience.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her family. Lord, we ask that you guide her as she seeks a godly husband. Help her to find her completeness in you and not in any man. Give her the discernment to recognize the man you have prepared for her, and grant her the patience to wait on your timing.

Father, we also bring before you her children. We pray that you will soften their hearts and turn them towards you. Help them to honor and respect their mother, and to walk in your ways. Give ### the wisdom and patience to guide them in your truth.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s past relationships. We ask that you heal any wounds or hurts that may be causing her to feel drained. Help her to find her rest and fulfillment in you alone.

Finally, Lord, we pray for ###'s walk with you. We ask that you draw her closer to you, and give her a hunger and thirst for your word. Help her to grow in her faith and to become more like you each day.
