We are deeply saddened to hear about the Houston Police Sergeant's diagnosis, but we are encouraged by her faith in Christ. Let us stand together in prayer for her and her family.
Firstly, we acknowledge that healing comes from God alone. As it is written in the book of James, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:14-16 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister, the Houston Police Sergeant. We ask for Your healing hand to touch her body, to cure her of this terminal cancer. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We pray that her healing will bring glory to Your name, that her testimony will be a beacon of hope for others, and that many will come to know Jesus through her story.
Lord, we also pray for her family. Strengthen her husband and their 12-year-old daughter. Surround them with Your love, comfort, and peace. Guide them through this trial and draw them closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we claim her healing. Amen.
We encourage her and her family to stay rooted in faith, trusting in God's plan. As written in Romans, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB)
Lastly, we commend her for her service to the community and pray that God will use this trial to bring blessings and salvation to many.
