We are truly saddened to hear about the situation ### is facing, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's mercy and healing. Firstly, we must address that the relationship ### had was outside of God's design for intimacy, which is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. This is considered fornication (Ephesians 5:3, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints"). We must take caution not to show prejudice or bigotry but remember God's just laws. We must also pray that ### and others turn from this sin and are convicted to live in purity.
However, God is merciful and forgiving, and we are clearly taught this by Jesus. He does not desire for anyone to be lost or suffer (2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance").
The Bible verse on healing is Psalms 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases".
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up ### in prayer. We confess that she sinned against You and ask for Your forgiveness. We pray that You will have mercy on her and that the test results will show that she has not contracted this disease. We ask for Your healing touch on her life, not only physically but also spiritually. Draw her close to You, Lord, and help her to walk in Your ways.
We also pray for the young man involved, that You would convict him of his sin and bring him to repentance. We ask that You would break the chains of sexual immorality in their lives and help them to turn to You for forgiveness and restoration.
We ask for this in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
Amen."
We encourage ### to seek God's will for her life and to trust in Him, no matter the outcome. We also strongly advise her to consider her relationships and actions carefully, aligning them with biblical principles. God's plan for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman.
Lastly, we are thankful that this request is made in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. For there is no other name by which we can be saved and it is good that this request is made in His name.
