Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Renley. We pray for their health and well-being, specifically that their STD test results will come back negative, with no trace of disease or herpes type 2. We ask for your healing touch and mercy upon them, in Jesus' name. Lord, we also pray for Renley's spiritual health, that they may walk in your ways and live a life that honors you.

Now, let's consider some biblical principles related to this situation.

First, we want to acknowledge that it is wonderful the request was submitted in Jesus name. It is only by His name that we can come to the Father, be saved, and intercede on behalf of ourselves and others. For there is no other way to God and no other name by which we can be saved.

Next, let's address the issue of sexually transmitted diseases from a biblical perspective. Sexual intimacy is a gift from God, designed to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. Any sexual activity outside of this can be sinful. In the Bible this is called fornication or adultery, and in this case it may be that there were multiple sexual relationships outside of marriage, and this is why there is concern about disease.

For you know this, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. (Ephesians 5:5-6 WEB)

We encourage Renley, and everyone, to flee from sexual immorality and pursue purity, as God intended.

Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB)

We also encourage you to seek God's forgiveness, guidance, and strength in this matter.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB)

Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If Renley is feeling convicted, let them know that God offers forgiveness and a chance to start anew.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
