Steven, we understand your frustration and disappointment. It's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned. It is only by His name that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
In times of financial struggle, it's crucial to hold onto the promises of God. As Christians, we are called to be good stewards of the resources He entrusts to us. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We encourage you to seek God's will in your financial situation. Ensure that you are managing your money wisely and in a way that honors Him. This includes tithing and giving offerings as directed in Malachi 3:10, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says Yahweh of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Steven in prayer. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing, the frustration, and the depression that comes with financial setbacks. We ask, Lord, that You would guide Steven in Your wisdom, helping him to manage his finances in a way that honors You. Help him to trust in You, even in the midst of uncertainty.
Lord, we also pray that You would bless Steven's finances, that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Help him to be a good steward of the resources You have entrusted to him.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Steven, remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Stand firm in your faith, and God will see you through this challenging time.
