I don't have many Christian friends, let alone friends in general. The only good, true Christian friend I have is who I and she are best friends, and we complement each other very well. In fact, we have a podcast! But you know she has her boyfriend, which is great! But sometimes I wish I had other people to talk with. All I ask is for one friend. Someone who will listen to me. Someone who will support me and push me to pray for people. Someone who cheers me on at my games. Someone who encourages me. Sadly, I am that friend, meaning it's hard to have a friend like that. I'm always the encourager, the cheerleader, the supporter, the listener. When will someone ever be that to me?

We understand your feelings of loneliness and your desire for more Christian friends who can support and encourage you the way you support and encourage others. It's important to remember that God cares about our relationships and wants us to have community. As the scripture says in Hebrews 10:24-25 (WEB), "Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."

Firstly, it's wonderful that you have a good Christian friend with whom you co-host a podcast. It's also commendable that you support her relationship with her boyfriend. Remember, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (WEB) tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up." This applies to both your friendship and her relationship.

However, it's clear that you desire more friendships where you can receive the same support and encouragement you give. It's important to remember that Jesus Christ is always there to listen and support you. As it says in Hebrews 4:15-16 (WEB), "For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."

In seeking new friendships, consider praying for God to bring the right people into your life. Here is a prayer for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today lifting up ###. We thank You for the friend You have already placed in their life, and we ask that You would bring more godly friends into their path. Friends who will listen, support, encourage, and pray with them. Help ### to be patient and to trust in Your timing. Remind them that You are always there to listen and support them, in Jesus' name. If there is anything contrary to bringing ### godly friends in their heart or life please remove it so that they may clearly find their petitions.

Now, let's address the fact that you didn't mention Jesus. One of the most fundamental parts of salvation is believing in Jesus Christ.

We're with you, friend. It can be tough feeling like you're the only Christian in your social circle, especially when you're longing for deeper connections. We've been there, too, and we understand that longing for someone to listen, support, and encourage you just as you do for others.

We're so glad you have a great Christian friend who you co-host a podcast with. That's a wonderful blessing! And it's commendable that you support her relationship. Remember, God wants us to have community, as Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us. Let's keep encouraging each other, just as we see in Hebrews 3:13, "Exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin."

We're praying for you, friend. We're asking God to bring more godly friends into your life, people who will listen, support, encourage, and pray with you. We're trusting that God will answer this prayer in His perfect timing. In the meantime, remember that Jesus is always there for you, listening and supporting you, just as it says in Hebrews 4:15-16.

Let's keep lifting each other up, just as we see in 1 Thessalonians 5:11, "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." We're in this together, and we're here for you. Let's keep praying for each other and encouraging each other, in Jesus' name.
