A friend

I would like a genuine friend, and one date, Heavenly Father. I do not need marriage or a boyfriend or a million friends. I am happy enough simply to know You, Lord. I am lonely though, and even one date and one friend would be nice. I submit to Your will, and know You might not fulfill this. That’s OK. However and whenever You do will be perfect though, and I thank You for hearing and caring about me, Father. Please bless those who pray for me, and in Jesus’s name I pray, amen

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who seeks a genuine friend and one date. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the loneliness they feel. We thank You for being their constant companion and for the joy they find in knowing You.

Your Word says in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." We pray that You would bring a true friend into their life, someone who reflects Your love and kindness. We also ask for the opportunity for them to experience the joy of companionship through a date, if it is in Your will.

Father, we submit to Your perfect plan and timing, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways. We trust that whatever You have in store will be for their ultimate good and Your glory. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for caring deeply about each of us.

Please bless those who join in prayer for this request. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
