A friend who cannot find peace

Please pray for my friend, who has had a very very very hard life and in the last ###-### years has been very angry. He became a very big sinner and the evil and the sin became something normal for him. Pray for him, so that his life changes and he will find a way how to get back to God. It is clear that the evil spirits are controlling him and he cannot get rid of them.
If his life got better and he did not suffer anymore, I believe the chance of becoming a good Christian again would become much higher. If there is too much of evil around him all the time, it is harder for him to change. Hopefully God will help him somehow. Maybe he will find a good girlfriend who will change him and make him a good person again.

We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's struggles and the grasp that evil has on his life. We will pray for him, but we also want to address some important biblical principles related to his situation.

Firstly, it is important to understand that peace and change can only come through Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Let us remember Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Secondly, we must address the mention of a girlfriend. While it is understandable to want happiness for your friend, it is essential to align with biblical principles. A girlfriend may not be the solution, but a godly wife can be a blessing from God. Proverbs 31:10-12 reminds us, "Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life."

Moreover, we must consider that your friend's change of heart should not depend on external circumstances but on the work of the Holy Spirit within him. Romans 5:8 tells us, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our friend's friend to Your throne of grace. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You break the chains of evil that have held him captive. Lord, we know that there is power in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper.

Father, we pray that You fill him with Christ's Holy Spirit and bring to his life love, peace, joy, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance.

We ask that if it be Your will, Father, that You bring into his life a godly wife who will support and encourage him in his walk with You. We pray that Your will be done in his life and that he turns back to You wholeheartedly, aligning his life principles to yours.

We ask this in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we have access to You, Father. And we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Amen.

Let us encourage you to continue praying for your friend and to share the gospel with him. Remind him that God loves him unconditionally and that there is always a way back to Him through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
