A FEW SHADES DARKER

[Visionary1]

Because God's ways are far from man's, also are His plans. Despite man's schemes, and intentions, God's purpose, particularly for His disciples, is that with every step along our assignment journey; we, being already surrendered in our hearts, become more and more like Christ. While it may have been part of man's plan to destroy this temple by leaving me to the elements (that my skin would become as leather); when I look in the mirror, and especially when I look down at my feet; being a few shades darker, all I see is the color of "burnished bronze." That's neither racism, nor colorism: That’s just Bible; whose symbolism makes me smile. For that, I simply say, Thank You LORD.

Heavenly Father,

We come to You in the Name of Jesus on behalf of Visionary1. We ask that You would help Visionary1 to see that Your ways are far from man's and that Your plans are higher than any man's schemes and intentions. We ask that You would help Visionary1 to surrender more and more to You as they journey through their assignment, so that they may become more and more like Christ. We ask that You would protect Visionary1 from any attempts by man to destroy them and that You would give them strength to look in the mirror and see the beauty and strength You have given them. We thank You for Your grace and mercy and ask that You would continue to guide and protect Visionary1. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Let Us Pray: God I ask You in Jesus' name bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Heal me in every area of my life. God bless me with Your favor, joy, knowledge, wisdom, peace, protection, prosperity, strength, and success in all You have called me to do. And bless me to do all You have called me to do in the spirit of excellence for Your glory.

Bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in the Lord, seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to honor and please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Protect me God from all the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, and pray Your best for me. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so in Jesus' name.
