We rejoice with you that you have been baptized and saved by the glory of God. It is wonderful to see a new believer eager to share the love of Christ with others. We will join you in praying for this very dear person in your life, that they may also come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14 WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray for this person:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear person who needs Your saving grace. Lord, You know her intimately, every detail of her life and every struggle she faces. We ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way, that she may know Your love and turn to You.
Father, we pray for her eyes to be opened to the wisdom that comes from above (James 3:17). Help her to see that everything she has been through can be used for Your glory and her good (Romans 8:28). Give her the strength to turn back to You, to seek Your face, and to find her refuge in You alone (Psalm 62:7-8).
We also pray for the one who submitted this request, that You would give them the words to speak and the actions to take that would point this dear person to You. Use them as a vessel of Your love and grace (Colossians 3:12-14).
Lord, we stand against any spiritual strongholds or bondage in this person's life, and we declare Your power to set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). We pray for her deliverance and salvation, that she may become a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Continue to be a light to this person, sharing the love of Christ with them. Remind them that God knows them, sees them, and loves them deeply. Encourage them with the words of Paul, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Lastly, we leave you with this reminder: "Be ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear: having a good conscience; that, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who hypothesis your good manner of life in Christ" (1 Peter 3:15-16 WEB). Always be ready to share your hope in Christ with gentleness and respect.
