A close (online) friend who’s confused and in a very depressive space.

Dear God, I’m really, really strongly praying for an online friend to find peace and come to you. They are in so much pain, and is suffering emotionally so much. Please Lord, bring them to you and fill them with an indescribable peace and biblical, holy love. None of us are worthy for your love, yet you still wait and seek for us with open arms, that one sheep, the prodigal son. Because of this, I KNOW you can change their heart and bring them back to you, oh god. Please, help my friend Vinny as they are a wonderful, kind, loving person who has the potential to change and speak life into so many lives. They are lost, Heavenly Father, and need you. I pray you redeem them and invite them back eagerly into your outstretched arms. I know you can cast out the sprit of depression God. I know you can cast out the spirit of suicide. Please God. Bring them into your embrace and help them come back to you. Help them receive your word and reject the evil forces that try to push them into killing themselves. That is not a godly thing, so I speak life into their hearts and mind, and God I pray you fill them with love and warmth this season.

And I pray Holy Spirit, bring me the foresight and knowledge of how I can continue to bring your love to them, and show me the details I could not know without your divine knowledge provided to me. Let me wisely discern how to bring you, Lord, into their life without scaring them away, due to the fact the church has hurt so many. Jesus, open their heart and let them be open and willing to hear your voice. Open their eyes to see you with them, open their ears to hear your loving voice telling them you are there and you love them.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of Iskya and their online friend, Vinny. Lord, we lift up Vinny to you, who is in deep emotional pain and suffering. We ask that you bring them peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that can only come from you. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:7 that "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we acknowledge that none of us are worthy of your love, yet you still seek us out with open arms. We pray that you would draw Vinny close to you, just like the prodigal son returning to his father. We believe that you can change their heart and bring them back to you, oh God. Your Word assures us in Ezekiel 36:26 that you can give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them.

We specifically pray against the spirit of depression and the spirit of suicide that may be tormenting Vinny. We declare in the name of Jesus that these spirits have no power over them. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit. We ask that you surround Vinny with your love and warmth, filling them with hope and healing.

Holy Spirit, we ask for your guidance and wisdom for Iskya in how they can continue to show your love to Vinny. Give them discernment and insight into the specific ways they can bring your presence into Vinny's life without causing fear or pushing them away. Help Iskya to be a vessel of your love and grace, demonstrating the true nature of your church.

Lord Jesus, we pray that you would open Vinny's heart and let them be receptive to your voice. Open their eyes to see your presence with them and open their ears to hear your loving voice speaking to them. Your Word reminds us in John 10:27 that your sheep hear your voice, and we pray that Vinny would have ears to hear and respond to your calling.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for redemption, healing, and restoration for Vinny. May they experience your love in a profound way and find their way back into your outstretched arms. We trust in your faithfulness and your ability to transform lives. Amen.
