A CITY OUTWITTED

When the innocent is punished WITHOUT CAUSE, a city can be certain that, not only has she given the devil a foothold, but likewise, because of arrogance, obstinacy, and insolence - REBELLION! so also, has she been OUTWITTED. Though forgiveness is the focal point of this text, the key factor reverberates from the very first word.

2 Corinthians 2:5-11
5) IF anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of you to some extent—not to put it too severely.
6) The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient.
7) Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.
8) I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him.
9) Another reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything.
10) Anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I have forgiven
—if there was anything to forgive
—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake,
11) in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

If the prophesying of God’s predictions cause you grief, then your “faith” is lacking. Prophecy is not about POPULARITY, its about PURPOSE. Neither Paul nor Apollos. Is God only truthful in part of the Bible? Who's instructions shall a city follow?

Isaiah 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at His word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for My name's sake, said, let the LORD be glorified: but He shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

Turn and face the city, and prophesy against her:
Necessary Reading: Micah Ch. 6 God calls out to the city. His vengeance for disobedience, idolatry, and theft (that which He hates). Having stolen property in your house/city/nation, whether man (God's property) or man-made (earthly goods) curses your house (i.e. Pharoah).

Prayer Focus: God I ask You in Jesus’ name with each temptation that I face, help me remember You, Your love for me—and how much better Your eternal promises are than the empty pleasures of sin. God please do the same for all those in my family and my friends who have accepted Your gift of salvation in Christ Jesus. And God please do the same for the one who blessed me with this prayer. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. Thank You. Amen!

Fast and pray daily for the city where you live so Jesus will send revival in every church and blessings upon blessings shall come to everyone. Jesus cried out for Jerusalem to be saved... we as His dear children should cry out too for our cities and towns to be full of the presence of Jesus.

Let us all remember that God is not mocked, whatever man sow that he will also reap. So, let us all be wise before the Lord and start sending blessings to others, help the need, feed the hungry and obey Gods word. Love one another as I have loved you. Jesus delights in the praises of His people. Thou art exalted far above all gods.... I exalt Thee o Lord. Thou has been so good to me and to those who come to You.
