Can you please pray for ###’s husband? He wants to move to Ireland and we just want to pray for a change of heart. Please pray for him to desist of that idea to move to Ireland, for his daughter and his wife’s wellbeing. Thank you for your prayers and may God bless you.

Let's bring this situation before the Lord, seeking His will and guidance for this husband and his family.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God has called us to be in submission to one another and to honor the headship of the husband in marriage. As it says in Ephesians 5:22-24 WEB, Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.

However, it's also crucial that decisions are made together in unity, considering the well-being of the entire family. As the man is the head, he also has the responsibility for the family. 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB says But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.

Let's pray that God will guide this husband's heart and give him wisdom and discernment. We pray that he will consider the well-being of his daughter and his wife in this decision and discuss it with them fully. Proverbs 15:22 WEB Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many advisers they succeed.

Let's also pray for his wife and daughter, that God will give them peace and understanding, and that they will trust in His sovereignty over this situation.
