Let us come together in prayer and support for you, Buzbraxus, and your brother, Iredia Osajie, during this challenging time. We stand with you in faith, believing that God can intervene and bring healing and restoration.
Firstly, let us address the struggle with addiction. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray that God will give Osajie the strength to overcome his addiction to pentazocine and find freedom in Jesus' name.
Regarding the sickle cell condition, we acknowledge that it is a trial that your family is facing. While we pray for God's miraculous healing, let us also remember the faithfulness of God in all circumstances. In 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, the Lord said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We pray that God's grace and power will be evident in Osajie's life, giving him strength and comfort.
We also note your plea for a change in genotype. While we believe in God's power to heal and transform, we must also remember that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). Our prayers should ultimately align with God's will, and we trust that He knows what is best for Osajie and your family.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Iredia Osajie to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his body. Break the chains of addiction and restore his health, Lord. We trust in Your power and goodness, God. Please strengthen their faith, and let Your will be done in Osajie's life and the life of his family. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, Buzbraxus, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, even in this difficult time. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Keep holding on to Jesus, and may God grant you and your family peace, comfort, and increased faith during this time.
