Let us come together in prayer and discernment for you, dear one, as you feel a sense of danger and unease about your upcoming discipliship. We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Firstly, we want to assure you that coming to the Father in the name of Jesus is the right thing to do. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Now, let us pray for your situation.
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, seeking Your divine protection and guidance for our dear sibling in Christ. They feel a sense of danger and unease about their upcoming discipliship. Lord, we ask that You make Your will clear to them. If there is truly danger ahead, we pray that You would intervene and prevent them from going. Give them discernment and peace, for Your word says in Philippians 4:7 (WEB), "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Dear one, we encourage you to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). If you feel danger, it is wise to be cautious and to seek God's will earnestly.
We also want to gently remind you that God's timing is perfect. While you mentioned that you feel you will be doomed within the year 2024 if God delays, remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Trust that He acts for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Lastly, we pray that God grants you the wisdom and courage to make the right decision regarding your discipliship. May His will be done in your life, and may He keep you safe and guided by His Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
