8yr Sons dad is absent ;always has been away for work. Or sleeping when present.. Nearly 10yr together, the last 2 years broken up but did not tell my son my relationship ended dad left he wasn't happy.(my son was 5 or 6). i realize not telling him gave my son unhealthy relationship idea. Dad continues to meet us for outings or my home visits for 2 hours every 2 wk, which is more quality time than when we lived in the same house. DAD has a big family and 3 adult kids - always busy. I have No family. I finally revealed to my son I am not in a relationship with his dad, but dad & mom love him.

MY SON WAS PLANNING A WEDDING.. SO I had to tell him, son the relationship is done we are never getting married, its going to be ok we love you.. Son is asking why, and is heartbroken. Breaks my heart I lived unhealthy and the last 2 years not being honest (he was young) with my son may have influenced my son to think it was normal to wait for dads random visit 2 hours quality time. Prayers for my sons spirit, heart and mind.., prayers for divine intervention of healthy male role models for my son and prayers for dad to prioritize his sons needs.
 
Trdoriymen, we are with you in spirit and in prayer. Let's first turn to the Word of God for guidance. In Psalm 68:5-6a (WEB) it says, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families." God is close to you and your son, and He cares deeply for your situation.

It is clear that the absence of your son's father has had a significant impact on him. We commend you for taking the step to be honest with your son about the state of your relationship with his father. It is important to live in truth, as Jesus tells us, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32 WEB).

However, we want to gently remind you that it is crucial to align your life with biblical principles. While you mentioned that you were in a relationship for nearly ### years and have been separated for the last ###, it is important to note that God's design for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage. If there was intimacy outside of marriage, it is important to repent and turn away from that sin.

In addressing your son's heartbreak, we encourage you to continue to point him to the Lord and to trust that God will bring positive male role models into his life. Remember the promise in Matthew 19:26 (WEB), "With God all things are possible."

Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### and her son to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on their hearts, minds, and spirits. Comfort them in their sorrow and help them to trust in You completely.

Father, we pray for the son's father. We ask that You would soften his heart and help him to prioritize his son's needs. We pray that You would bring godly male role models into this young boy's life, that he may grow up to be a man of God.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s relationship status. We pray that You would bring a godly spouse into her life, that they may honor You together in a marriage that reflects Your love for the church.

Father, we ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose again that we may have life and have it more abundantly. It is in His name that we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to bathe your son and this situation in prayer. Trust that God is working, even when you can't see it. Stand on the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Yes, it was in my own epiphany of shame I realized my sin and bad example.. thank you for this prayer.
 
Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
