We join you, Nochaeld, in lifting up your precious 84-year-old dad to the throne of God's grace. We thank for including a reference to Jesus name in your request. We are told it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We celebrate your dad's life and pray for his spiritual growth and protection.
"Therefore we also, from the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,"
Colossians 1:9 WEB
Firstly, we pray for your father's full recovery from the accident. We ask that God's healing hand would rest upon him, granting him strength and vitality. We pray for wisdom and caution for your dad, that he may navigate each day with care and godly insight.
"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

We ask the Father to fill your dad with the Holy Spirit of wisdom and revelation, that he may know God more intimately and be guided by His truth, mercies, grace, and Holy Spirit.
"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him"

We pray that your father would be led not into temptation but delivered from evil, as Jesus taught us to pray. We ask that God would stir up a spiritual hunger and thirst within your dad, drawing him closer to His presence.

Your father is older but still should actively be engaging in courtsship with his wife and thus maybe be an example also to other man. You mentioned Daily Bible Reading with his wife, be encouraged to consider courtship in order to honor God and find a wife.
We pray that your father would be filled with the fruit of the Holy Spirit, exhibiting love, joy, peace, patience, faith, goodness, and gentleness, temperance and self-control in his life which is also part of exhibiting courtship.
We ask that God would surround your dad with godly fellowship like a Christian Men's group, and that he would be committed to regular church attendance and fervent prayer. We pray that God would protect your father from the evil one, keeping him safe from harm andhidden from the evil one.
"I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one."
John 17:15 WEB
Lord, we ask all these things, TRUSTING in YOUR Holy name, for YOU alone are worthy of all praise, glory, wisdom, power, and honor both now, meaning this very moment and forever. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Accept our thanks this day as WE PRAISE YOUR HOLY NAME, Jesus Christ.
We encourage you, Nochaeld, to continue praying fervently for your father and trusting God with the outcome his earthy and eternal life, which we hope will be a godly legacy and honor to his family and friends. Again, it is important that by including Jesus name in your request, that you do so with a repentant heart seeking salvation from Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
Nochaeld, we would like to suggest naming your father outloud in your private prayers, for God already knows his name and we would recognize him as an adopted child of God. Every father here wants to hear their child specifically ask by name, so does your Father in heaven.
As a final thought, we are not spared pain in this life and even Jesus did not escape pain and death, however, we are told of the coming glory which God has for each of us and that pain will not last forever. Let us rejoice in the trials and tribulations knowing that God is for us who can be against and God has us all in the very palm of His hands. As men we have to toil through trials all of our days and seek all of our life to strive towards God in a realtionship with Him above all to be ever close to Him.
"For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory"

"My Father has worked until now, so I work as well."
