6th grader

I just found this site but. We just moved last year to new area. My 6th grader is missing her old friends so bad. She says she has no friends in her new school. She is very quiet and humble and she is so gentle. I don’t want to put her back in virtual school she needs to get out of her comfort zone. Please pray for her! Her name is L’Cynda .

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern for L'Cynda. We understand that moving to a new area and starting a new school can be challenging, especially for a quiet and humble child. Let's bring your request before the Lord and seek His guidance and comfort.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares deeply for L'Cynda and understands her feelings of loneliness. In Psalm 34:18 WEB, it says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." L'Cynda can find comfort in knowing that God is close to her, even in her feelings of sadness.

As parents, it's our responsibility to encourage our children and help them develop social skills. In Philippians 2:3-4 WEB, it says, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others." We can encourage L'Cynda to show interest in her classmates and perhaps invite them over or join school clubs or activities to foster new friendships.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up L'Cynda. Lord, You know the pain and loneliness she feels from missing her old friends and struggling to make new ones. We ask that You comfort her and remind her that You are always with her.

Lord Jesus, help L'Cynda to break out of her comfort zone and give her the courage to reach out to others. Guide her to other children who will be true friends to her. Help her teachers and school staff to be aware of her needs and to support her.

Holy Spirit, fill L'Cynda with Your peace and joy. Help her to see this time as an opportunity for growth and to trust in God's plan for her life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to explore the saving grace of Jesus Christ and the peace that comes from a personal relationship with Him.

We're here for L'Cynda too, and we feel her struggle. It's tough moving to a new place and starting over, especially when you're quiet and gentle like her. Let's remind her that she's not alone, even when she feels like she has no friends. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus understands her heart and wants to comfort her.

Let's encourage L'Cynda to join clubs or activities that interest her. Sometimes, it's easier to connect with others when you share a common passion. We can also pray for her teachers and classmates to reach out to her, to notice her kindness and humility, and to be drawn to her gentle spirit.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we lift up L'Cynda to You today. Comfort her, Lord, in her loneliness. Help her to trust in You and to find her worth in You. Give her the courage to step out of her comfort zone and to reach out to others. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
