Disciple of Prayer
6 weeks ago, my mother started to recognize the signs of pregnancy. At 45 years old, she never expected she'd have another one on the way. She was ecstatic and couldn't wait to be a mother again (I'm 16 and I'm the youngest, so she thought her mothering days were over). She went for a sonogram at 5 weeks, and they couldn't see a fetus. They said it could be one of two things. It could either be that the fetus is too small to see at the moment, or it could be a miscarriage. I've had a lot of trouble with baby's in my family. My aunt had 5 abortions, which hurts me terribly. Her sister had one abortion because she was afraid to loose the baby. Another aunt of mine did all she could to keep her baby, but it died two hours after birth. I've lost many cousins, and I don't want to lose a sibling too. I don't want to see my mother and fathers hearts broken.

Please pray for my little sibling to push through this. Please pray for him/her to survive. I have to admit, the idea of adding another family member after 16 years of being the youngest terrifies me. However, that doesn't mean that this innocent child should die. This is my sister/brother. Although I don't know them yet, I know that I love them. I don't want to see them go before I even have a chance to meet them. I don't want to see them go before I have the chance to teach them all I know, and show them all the good things that this world holds. Please pray for him/her. He/She doesn't deserve to die.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
