We understand your heart's cry, Myrrul, and we stand with you in prayer and support during this challenging time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). It's crucial to trust in Him and His plans, even in the darkest times.
Regarding your brother's imprisonment, we pray that God will grant him favor and mercy. Remember, the LORD is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We pray for his release, but also for his spiritual freedom and salvation in Jesus Christ. If he has not already, we encourage him to cry out to God, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23, WEB), and the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23, WEB).
For your children's safety, we pray Psalm 91 over them, that they will rest in the shadow of the Almighty and be kept from harm. We also pray for Masiah to return home, trusting in the Lord's timing.
As for your personal growth, we encourage you to seek God and His will for your life. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them (Ephesians 2:10, WEB). Trust that He will guide you and shape you into the person He designed you to be.
Concerning Fort Polk, we pray for a spirit of compassion and understanding to prevail, that your father and children will be acknowledged and cared for during this crisis.
About Billy Strong, we are compelled to ask: what is the nature of this separation? We must caution that if there is any bitterness, unforgiveness, or discord involved, it is important to remember that we are called to love and forgive as Christ loved and forgave us (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). If the separation is due to ungodly behavior or harm, then it is wise to seek godly counsel and do what is necessary to protect your family.
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB), and there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, for He is the mediator between God and humankind (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Myrrul's brother, asking for Your mercy and favor. We pray for the safety of her children and for Masiah to return home. We ask that You guide Myrrul and help her become the person You designed her to be. We pray for acknowledgment and care for her father and children in Fort Polk. We also pray for wisdom and guidance regarding the separation from Billy Strong. Most importantly, we pray that Myrrul and her loved ones will come to trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
