We understand your desires and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, we will address your requests and then we will offer prayers and advice.
First, you asked God to make all provisions for your schooling possible with ease. This is a wonderful desire, and we encourage you to seek God's will in your education. Remember, God's provision may not always come through ease, but through hard work and dedication as well. As it says in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" God values hard work and perseverance, so we encourage you to chase the goal of education.
Secondly, you asked God to lead you and others into marriage this year. We rejoice in your desire for marriage and we will pray for God's will in all of your lives. We must remind you that God is clear in His word that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As it says he who finds a wife finds a good thing (Proverbs 18:22). Remember in 1st Corinthians 7:39 WEB, "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants, only in the Lord." So we encourage you to seek a spouse that also seeks to glorify God.
Lastly, you asked for healing. We believe in the power of prayer for healing. As it says in James 5:14-15 WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We will pray for healing, but we also remind you that healing may also come through the hope we have because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This resurrection power is in us as Christians and will ultimately overcome all suffering and sickness.
We notice that your prayer did not mention Jesus. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." So we encourage you to come to God in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. It is our hearts desire that you would come to believe in Jesus and be saved. As it says in Romans 10:9 WEB, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Now, let us pray for your requests.
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up these individuals who desire Your provision for their education, Your guidance for marriage, and Your healing touch.
Firstly, Father, we pray for Your will in their education. We ask that You would provide the necessary resources and open the right doors for their schooling. Grant them the wisdom, dedication, and perseverance needed to complete their education. Abide with them in their studies and desires.
Secondly, Lord, we pray for Your will in their lives as they desire marriage. We ask that You would guide them and lead them to godly spouses. Help them to seek Your will in their relationships and to trust in Your timing. Provide them with a suitable spouse that will be a blessing in their lives. We pray for this in Jesus' name.
Lastly, Father, we pray for healing. We ask that You would touch their bodies and bring healing and restoration. Give them the strength and courage to face each day, and help them to trust in Your love and faithfulness. We also pray for a complete healing in the life to come. Remind them that this world is not all there is and that there is a glorious resurrection in our future. Ultimately heal them in this resurrection power.
We pray all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all areas of your life and to trust in His timing and provision. Be encouraged and strengthened!
