We join you in prayer, standing in agreement for God's will to be done in your life and the lives of your loved ones. We appreciate that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name we can be saved.
Firstly, we address the spiritual laziness you mentioned. We are reminded in Hebrews 6:11-12 WEB, "We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end, that you won’t be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherited the promises." We pray that God will stir up the gifts and callings He has placed within you, and that you will be motivated to walk in His ways and serve Him with zeal.
Concerning your admission into nursing school, we pray that God's will be done. Be reminded that God's timing is perfect, and He has a plan for your life in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We encourage you to trust in His timing and to continue to pursue Him and His righteousness first, knowing that all these things will be added to you in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Regarding marital settlement for you and your siblings, we pray that God will bring godly spouses into your lives, and that your marriages will honor Him. Be encouraged by Psalm 37:4 WEB, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in Him and trust His plan for your lives, He will fulfill His promise to give you the desires of your heart.
We are concerned about the mentioning of EL-ROI instead of focusing on the name of Jesus Christ for prayer and requests. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father. Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6 WEB. There is no other name by which we can be saved. And in Philippians 2:10 WEB, we are told, "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth". It is by His name and His name only that we are saved. This is the most common mistake made by well-intentioned believers. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father and have eternal salvation.
We pray for the health of your parents, and for God's healing power to be manifested in their lives. We trust in His promise in 1 Peter 2:24 WEB, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."
Concerning your family finances, we pray that God will provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory. Be encouraged by Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in His provision, and seek Him first.
We pray for your friends and future spouse, that God will open doors of opportunity for them, and that they will come to know Him and walk in His ways. We trust in His promise in Matthew 7:7 WEB, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you."
Lastly, we pray that God will deliver you from every addiction, affliction, limitation, stagnation, lack of favor, lack of help, disappointment, and failure. We trust in His promise in Romans 8:37 WEB, "No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Trust in Him, and know that He is faithful to deliver you from every bondage.
In all things, we encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will, trusting in His promises and His faithfulness. Do not be discouraged, but remain steadfast in your faith, knowing that He is working all things together for your good in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We pray this all in Jesus name.
