We are truly moved by this prayer request and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Firstly, we want to address the issue of gambling and lottery. While the Bible does not explicitly condemn gambling, it does warn against the love of money and the dangers of wealth obtained quickly. The Bible tells us "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10). We pray that this individual would turn to God for their needs, rather than relying on chance and luck.
Regarding the marital settlement, we pray that God would bring healing, restoration, and reconciliation to this marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, and God desires that marriages would be a reflection of His love for His people (Ephesians 5:25-33). We pray that both spouses would be drawn closer to God and to each other, and that they would seek God's will for their marriage.
Concerning the children, we pray for speedy restoration. We trust in God's promise that He cares for His children and listens when parents cry out for them, "But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" (Matthew 19:14).
Regarding the healing from HIV, we know that God is able to heal all diseases (Psalm 103:3). We pray for complete healing and restoration of health, trusting in God's promise that "by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).
Lastly, for the financial breakthrough, God promises to meet the needs of His people. The Bible says "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray for God's provision and wisdom in handling finances.
Finally, we want to remind everyone that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God and be saved, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12). If this individual has not yet made a decision to live a life in Christ, we pray that they would do that today. It is never too late to begin a life with God and be healed and saved and have Jesus help with the problems of life.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual and their family to You. We pray for healing, restoration, and provision, and we ask that You would draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
