Let us begin by remembering the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in My name, I will do it." It is so important to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father.
As you approach your anniversary and look ahead to 2025, let us pray and seek God's will for your life and your loved ones. Firstly, let's address the expectations one by one. It is wise to plan and have goals, but remember the words of Proverbs 16:9 WEB, "A man's heart devises his way, but Yahweh directs his steps." We must always submit our plans to God's will.
1. Well paid job in the first quarter of 2025:
It is good to seek better employment, but remember that God's blessing is more important than just a well-paid job. As it says in Ecclesiastes 2:24 WEB, "There is nothing better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labor. This also I saw, that it is from the hand of God." Let us pray for you, "Dear Father, bless them with work that brings joy, purpose, and provides for their needs. May it be from your hand and glorify you."
2. Babies for my sisters in 2025:
Children are a blessing from the Lord, as stated in Psalm 127:3 WEB, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is His reward." We will pray for successful pregnancies for your sisters, Lord willing. "Father, bless their sisters with godly offspring in your timing."
3. My nephew walking and talking in ###:
It is heartwarming to hear that you want the best for your nephew, but remember that God's timing is perfect. Let us pray, "Father, help this nephew develop normally and may they be a source of joy for the family."
4. Strange marital connections in 2025:
We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. It is unclear what is meant by "strange marital connections," but if it refers to anything outside of God's design for marriage, we must caution against it. As stated in Hebrews 13:4 WEB, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
5. ### years in one day:
We believe this is just hyperbole, but remember that God is in control of time. As it says in Psalm 31:15 WEB, "My times are in your hand." God can accomplish a lot in one day. Just look at the many miracles in the Bible.
6. Healings from sickness and disease:
God is our healer, and we can trust Him with our health. As it says in Exodus 15:26, "For I am Yahweh who heals you" and Isaiah 53:5 WEB, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." Let us pray, "Dear Father, heal and protect from all sickness and disease, according to your will."
7. Financial blessings in 2025:
Remember that God's blessings are not always financial, but He does provide for our needs. As stated in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us also pray for you for God to bring you a godly spouse to share this life with. That you both can grow in the faith and have a marriage that honors God.
Lastly, we must remember to pray in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
