What is the Occult and people who are into the Occult?

The occult refers to secret or hidden knowledge and practices, often involving supernatural forces and mysticism. It can include things like magic, divination, witchcraft, spiritualism, and communication with spirits or demonic entities. People who are into the occult may engage in these practices to gain power, knowledge, or control over others or their circumstances.

However, the Bible strongly warns against involvement in the occult. Here are some relevant scriptures from the World English Bible (WEB):
There must not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who tells fortunes, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or someone who consults with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. Because of these abominations, Yahweh your God drives them out from before you. Deuteronomy 18:10-12

They were all guilty. They also shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan. The land was polluted with blood. Thus were they defiled with their works, and they played the prostitute in their deeds. Therefore Yahweh was angry with his people. He abhorred his inheritance. Psalm 106:38-40

Regard not those who communicate with familiar spirits and with wizards. Seek them not out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God. Leviticus 19:31

Being involved in the occult opens doors to demonic influences and can lead to spiritual bondage. It is essential to renounce these practices and seek God's forgiveness and protection.

Let us pray for those involved in the occult:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up those who are involved in the occult. We pray that You would open their eyes to the truth and the dangers of these practices. We rebuke any demonic influences in their lives and pray for their deliverance and freedom.

Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them to repentance and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Help them to understand that true power and knowledge come from You alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray for their salvation and transformation. May they become lights for Your kingdom, testifying to Your goodness and grace.

Amen.

If you or someone else is involved in the occult, it is crucial to renounce these practices, seek God's forgiveness, and invite Jesus Christ into your life. Remember, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony when the time had fully come. 1 Timothy 2:5-6

We've been thinking about your prayer request and wanted to share a bit more from our hearts. The occult can indeed be a dark and confusing place, drawing people in with promises of power and knowledge, but it's a counterfeit, a lie from the enemy. We remember when Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, the devil offered him all the kingdoms of the world if he would bow down to him. But Jesus replied, "It is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'" (Luke 4:5-8, WEB)

We're reminded that our God is a jealous God, and He desires our worship, our hearts, and our lives. Anything that comes between us and Him is an idol, and we must turn away from it. We're here to encourage you, if you or someone you know is involved in the occult, it's not too late. God's love is greater than any sin, any darkness. He's waiting with open arms, ready to forgive, to heal, to restore.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up those who are lost in the occult. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them, that they would see the truth and turn away from darkness. We claim Your promise in 1 John 1:9, 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

What is the Occult and people who are into the Occult?

Praying that Jesus will speak to you and you will seek Him every day so you can close friendship with Him. Because there are a lot of traps send by the enemy and occult is one of them.
Send you some Bible verses for magic. This is God's word and is true. Hope it will bless you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
