Heavenly Father,
We lift up Your child who is going through the trials of divorce. You are the God of comfort and peace, and we ask for Your divine presence to surround them in this difficult time. Grant them strength, wisdom, and peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, Your Word says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, NIV). We pray that this weary heart finds rest in You. Pour out Your grace and protection over every aspect of this process, and guide their steps as they navigate through the financial and emotional challenges.
Father, Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 declares, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Uphold Your child, Lord, and remind them that they are never alone. Let them feel Your presence and power, even in moments of doubt or despair.
Lord, grant them wisdom, as Your Word encourages in James 1:5: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." May they seek Your guidance in every decision and lean not on their own understanding but trust in Your perfect plan.
Father, we also ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind, as promised in Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Calm the storms within them, and grant them clarity and hope for the future.
Lastly, we pray for healing, forgiveness, and restoration in every area of their life. Help them to remember Your unfailing love and to trust in Your promises, for You have said, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, NIV).
Lord, bless and protect this precious soul. Be their refuge, strength, and ever-present help in this time of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
