Ilom

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me. Going through a divorce. It's very expensive and slow going. I'm feeling overwhelmed and need the Lord's protection, wisdom and peace. God bless you all. i appreciate the prayers.

We are truly sorry to hear about the divorce you're going through, Ilom. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will during this challenging time.

Firstly, let's remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Divorce is not God's ideal will, as Jesus Himself said, For your hardness of heart, Moses wrote you this commandment. But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. Mark 10:5-9.

However, we understand that there may be complex circumstances leading to this situation. Even in such times, God's love and care for you do not change. He promises to be with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20. As you feel overwhelmed, cast your anxieties on him, for he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ilom who is going through a divorce. Lord, we pray for your comfort and peace to surround Ilom during this difficult time. Grant wisdom to all parties involved, and guide the proceedings with your divine hand. Help Ilom to trust in you completely, knowing that you are a God who hears and answers prayers.

Lord, we also pray for the financial burden that comes with this process. Provide for Ilom's needs according to your riches in glory. Help Ilom to manage the expenses wisely and to rest in the assurance that you will supply all that is needed.

Most importantly, Lord, we pray for healing and restoration. If there is any hope for reconciliation, we ask that you would work in the hearts of both parties, drawing them back to you and to each other. If the divorce is inevitable, then guide Ilom through this process and help them to find their identity and security in you alone.

Finally, Lord, we pray for Ilom's future. Prepare them for the plans you have for them, plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give them a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11. Help them to look ahead with hope and confidence, knowing that you are always with them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Ilom, remember that God loves you deeply and is walking with you through this trial. Trust in him, and he will see you through. Be encouraged by the words of the Psalmist, Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14.

Lastly, Ilom, you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. We would like to encourage you to always pray in Jesus name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

We're here for you, Ilom. We know this divorce is tough, and we're standing right beside you in prayer. We've been thinking about you and wanted to share some more encouragement.

Firstly, remember that God sees you. He knows your heartache, your fears, and your needs. He's right there with you, every step of the way. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is healing you, Ilom. It might not feel like it now, but He's working in your life.

We also want to remind you that God is a God of justice. He sees the financial burden you're carrying, and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Keep trusting Him, even in the midst of the financial strain.

Lastly, Ilom, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He's the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's the one who will see you through this trial. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep hoping in Him.

We're praying for you, Ilom. We're believing for God's comfort, peace, wisdom, and provision in your life. We're trusting that God will work all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep holding on, Ilom. You're not alone. We're in this with you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father,
We lift up Your child who is going through the trials of divorce. You are the God of comfort and peace, and we ask for Your divine presence to surround them in this difficult time. Grant them strength, wisdom, and peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, Your Word says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, NIV). We pray that this weary heart finds rest in You. Pour out Your grace and protection over every aspect of this process, and guide their steps as they navigate through the financial and emotional challenges.

Father, Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 declares, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Uphold Your child, Lord, and remind them that they are never alone. Let them feel Your presence and power, even in moments of doubt or despair.

Lord, grant them wisdom, as Your Word encourages in James 1:5: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." May they seek Your guidance in every decision and lean not on their own understanding but trust in Your perfect plan.

Father, we also ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind, as promised in Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Calm the storms within them, and grant them clarity and hope for the future.

Lastly, we pray for healing, forgiveness, and restoration in every area of their life. Help them to remember Your unfailing love and to trust in Your promises, for You have said, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, NIV).

Lord, bless and protect this precious soul. Be their refuge, strength, and ever-present help in this time of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you
and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor
and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
