We stand with you in prayer for Mary McGuire, her family, and her cats, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing, salvation, and complete restoration.
Firstly, we acknowledge that Mary's struggles with depression, anxiety, alcoholism, and anger are real and significant. However, we are reminded in Galatians 5:19-21 WEB that such things are works of the flesh, and those who practice them will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Therefore, we rebuke these issues in Mary's life and pray for her deliverance and freedom.
"Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Mary McGuire to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know her struggles and the pain she carries. We ask for Your healing touch on her life, that You would deliver her from depression, anxiety, alcoholism, and anger. Surround her with Your loving presence, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also pray for Mary's family, that You would bless them and draw them closer to You. And Lord, we ask for Your protection and provision for Mary's cats, that they would be healthy and safe.
Most importantly, we pray for Mary's salvation. If she has not already done so, we pray that she would acknowledge that Jesus is Lord or claim that Jesus' name is the only way that we are saved. If she has done this but the spirits above are in her life, she needs to ask Jesus to be the Lord of her life. For it is written in Romans 10:9 WEB, "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." and Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!"
Thank you for mentioning Jesus' name and acknowledging the authority of it.
Father, we ask for Your mercy and kindness to be in her heart, give her nerves rest, grant her relief, and restore her to complete recovery. Give her the power to resist sin as it says in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
We ask this all in Jesus' loving name, Amen
