We stand with you in prayer, dear soul, and we commend you for reaching out to the Lord in your time of need. Let us together bring your requests before the throne of grace, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we pray for your parents. Lord God, we ask that You be with our dear brother's mom and dad. We ask for Your divine protection and provision over their lives, that You would keep them in Your care, according to Your promises in Psalm 91: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Next, we lift up your siblings. Lord Jesus, we ask for Your guidance and help in our dear brother's siblings' lives. Be with his brother in his job and his classes. We pray that You would give him the spirit of excellence, as spoken of in Daniel 6:3, "Then this Daniel was distinguished above the presidents and the satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm." Also, Lord, be with his sister in her classes. We ask that You grant her understanding and wisdom, as promised in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Lastly, we address your personal struggles. We appreciate your honesty, and we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's face in these areas. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 7:1, "Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." We pray that God would deliver you from negativity, sexual immorality, and evil music. Fill your heart and mind with His Word and His praise. Remember, Philippians 4:8 tells us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
We notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. We want to remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your divine intervention in our dear brother's life and the lives of his family members. Lord, be their refuge and fortress. Grant them wisdom and the spirit of excellence. Deliver our dear brother from every form of unrighteousness and fill him with Your praise. Help him to walk in Your ways and live a life pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord, dear soul, and He will direct your paths.
