We understand your desire to leave your past behind and move forward in a way that honors God. First, we want to assure you that through Jesus Christ, there is forgiveness and redemption. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking your will for ###. Lord, reveal to them the steps they need to take to leave their past behind and walk in newness of life. Break all soul ties that do not align with your will, and help them to forgive and be forgiven, just as you have forgiven us.

We lift up their family—their dad, mom, brothers, and sister—and ask for your healing touch upon them. Soften their hearts to forgive and to be forgiven, for your word tells us in Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) to 'be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.'

Lord, we also pray for the salvation of those who need it, including the boy ### used to work with and his family, and all those in their past. May they come to know you as their Lord and Savior, for it is your will that all should be saved (1 Timothy 2:4).
