We understand your heart's cry for freedom from evil and to know what is good. Firstly, let's remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in this dear soul's life. We pray that You will deliver them from every form of evil and fill their heart with the knowledge of what is good, pleasing, and perfect in Your sight. As it is written in Romans 12:2, "Donβt be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We also pray that they will come to know Jesus Christ personally if they don't already, for it is in Him that we find true freedom. As it is written in Galatians 5:1, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and donβt be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
We encourage you to spend time in the Word of God, seeking His face in prayer. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Remember, God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Lastly, let's echo the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 139:23-24, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
