We understand that you're seeking strength for your daily tasks, specifically to mop the floor each day. Let us first remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (WEB)
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our fellow believer who has asked for strength. We know that Your Word tells us that we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us. Please be with them as they go about their daily tasks, and grant them the physical and mental strength they need.
However, we notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (WEB) We encourage you to acknowledge Jesus Christ in your prayers, as it is through Him that our prayers are heard and answered.
Moreover, we want to remind you that even in the mundane tasks of life, we can bring glory to God. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." (WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray for your strength and that your tasks would bring glory to God. Amen.
