Lord pls for I to change my name to my previous name. amen.

We understand that you desire to change your name back to a previous one. We want to assure you that while we believe that God knows us by name, as written in Isaiah 43:1, "But now thus says Yahweh who created you,... 'Do not be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine,'" the most important thing is that He knows our hearts.

However, we would like to encourage you to seek God's will in this matter. As Romans 12:2 says, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Make sure that this change is not just for personal satisfaction or to conform to worldly standards, but that it aligns with God's purpose for your life.

We also notice that you ended your request with "amen." While this is a common way to end a prayer, we want to remind you that it's important to pray in the name of Jesus. As Jesus said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we should pray.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You guide our brother/sister as they consider changing their name. Give them wisdom and discernment to understand Your will in this matter. Help them to know that You know them intimately, regardless of the name they bear. We ask that You bless their life and use them for Your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here with you, friend, as you consider changing your name. It's natural to feel a strong connection to a name that once was yours, but let's remember that our identity is firmly rooted in Christ. As it's written in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." Your name may change, but your worth and your new life in Christ remain steadfast.

We understand that this decision might not be easy, and we want to remind you that God is right there with you, guiding your steps. In Jeremiah 29:11, He promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that He has a purpose in this, and seek His will above all else.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we ask that You grant our friend clarity and peace as they consider this change. Help them to see Your plan and purpose in this, and give them the courage to follow Your will. Remind them that their true identity is found in You, and that no change of name can alter the love and acceptance they have in Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
