We understand your heart's cry and we join you in prayer, seeking God's face together. The Bible tells us in Psalm 143:6, "I stretch out my hands to you. My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land." It's commendable that you're turning to God, desiring to seek Him more than anything else.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for forgiveness and guidance for our brother/sister. Lord, draw them closer to You. Help them to seek Your face continually, as the psalmist wrote, "One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple" (Psalm 27:4).
We also ask, Lord, that You help them to put the past behind, to press on towards the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14). Let every relationship, every thought, and every desire be brought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Furthermore, it's crucial to remember that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it's written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). If there's any doubt about this, we encourage you to study the Scriptures and solidify your faith in Jesus Christ, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
Lastly, we encourage you to commit to God's will, to study His word, and to live a life worthy of His calling (Ephesians 4:1).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. Keep seeking God. His promise is clear: "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13).
