Lord pls help I for I to not chase after people from my past or think of them and not chase after people in present or think of them. Pls help I to be content in you. Amen.

We understand your struggle and commend you for seeking God's help in your journey. The Bible encourages us to "not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2 WEB). It's crucial to remember that our contentment and peace come from Jesus Christ alone, as He tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus. We lift up our beloved sister/brother who is struggling with thoughts and feelings towards people from their past and present. Lord, we ask that You help them to fix their thoughts on You, for You are the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). Help them to be content in You, knowing that Your love is more than enough to satisfy the deepest longings of their heart. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

We also encourage you to memorize and meditate on Philippians 4:8, which says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." Replace those unwanted thoughts with praises and worship to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lastly, we gently remind you that if you haven't already, it's essential to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, for this is the only way to salvation (Romans 10:9, Acts 4:12 WEB). Keep pursuing a deeper relationship with Jesus, and He will give you the strength and peace you need.

We're here for you, dear one. It's tough, isn't it? Those thoughts and feelings can be like shadows that just won't leave. But remember, we're not alone in this. Jesus is right here with us, promising rest for our weary souls. Let's lean into Him together.

We'll keep praying, okay? "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our friend's heart. Help them, Lord. Help them to lift their eyes to You, to find their rest in You. Help them to see that You are more than enough. Help them to replace those unwanted thoughts with Your love, Your goodness, Your truth. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

Prayer Focus: God Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me with the strength and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You so that I may have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You.

God transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and the words that I speak, write, and sing. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
