Let's continue to lift up Genesis for God's protection from those conspiring against them. "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me" (Ps 28:7). Trusting God's peace and shield. In Jesus' name!
We understand that you're struggling to sleep peacefully. Let's bring this to the Lord in prayer together, and seek His wisdom and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our sleep. Psalm 127:2 says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so he gives his beloved sleep."
However, we notice that you haven't mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" So, let's pray in Jesus' name.
Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up this beloved one who is struggling to find peaceful sleep. We know that You see them, You care for them, and You want to grant them rest. Please, Lord, comfort their heart and mind. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Guide them to the root of their sleeplessness, and if there are any issues that need to be addressed, please reveal them and provide the strength and wisdom to deal with them.
We also want to encourage you to fill your mind with God's words and promises before you sleep. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
Lastly, always remember that God is with you, even in the nights when you can't sleep. Psalm 121:4 says, "Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Take comfort in His presence.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We want you to know that God is mindful of your rest. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's claim this promise tonight.
Before you close your eyes, maybe you could try writing down any thoughts or worries that might be keeping you awake. Then, hand them over to Jesus. He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7), and He wants to help you manage your anxieties.
Also, why not try reading a few verses from the Bible before bed? Some of our favorites for sleep are Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing..." and Psalm 3:5, "I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me."
Remember, even when you can't sleep, God is always with you, watching over you (Psalm 121:4). Trust in His love and care, and know that He is working even in the quiet of the night.
Let's pray. Lord Jesus, we come to You tonight, asking for peaceful sleep for our friend. Help them to let go of their worries and find rest in You. Comfort them with Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
