We understand your concern and desire for deliverance from bad secular music. It's important to fill our minds with things that are pure, lovely, and praiseworthy, as Philippians 4:8 tells us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
We must be cautious about the music we listen to, as it can greatly influence our thoughts and behaviors. Ephesians 5:19 encourages us, "speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and making melody in your heart to the Lord." Let's replace the secular music with worship and praise, inviting the presence of God into our lives.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your help and guidance. We ask for deliverance from the influence of bad secular music and pray that You would fill our hearts and minds with Your truth and worship. Help us to discern what is pleasing to You and give us the strength to turn away from anything that is not. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, our strength and our redeemer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will help you as you seek to honor Him in every area of your life, including the music you listen to. Trust in Him, and He will guide your path. As Psalm 32:8 says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."
