We're glad to join you in prayer and offer guidance as you seek to grow in your spiritual journey. First, let's remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It's crucial to acknowledge that our prayers are heard because of our faith in Jesus Christ.
In your request, you've asked for forgiveness and a renewed commitment to prayer. This is commendable, as God calls us to draw near to Him. Hebrews 4:16 (WEB) encourages us, "Let's therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
However, we want to gently remind you that while asking for forgiveness is essential, it's also important to acknowledge who you're seeking forgiveness from. In 1 John 1:9 (WEB), it's written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Here, the apostle John reminds us that confession and forgiveness are centered on our relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Lord, help us to take our prayer life seriously, to commit to communing with You daily, and to grow in our relationship with You. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and guide us in Your ways.

Remember, drawing near to God and taking prayer seriously is a journey. Keep your focus on Jesus Christ, and He will guide your path. As Colossians 3:1-2 (WEB) encourages, "If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth."
