Dear ###, we understand that you are seeking steady work, and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let us first remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."
We pray, Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up ###. We ask that You guide him to suitable employment, where he can use his talents to glorify Your name. Help him to trust in You, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for his life. We pray that ### will be a light for You in his workplace, demonstrating Your love and integrity in all he does. In Jesus' name, we pray.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
