Good morning all. How are you doing? How was your day yesterday? Did you think about the questions from yesterday?
Let's look at question 1. - what does standing mean to you?
The definition of stand :
An attitude toward a particular issue; a position taken in an argument
So one question I have what is your position on your stand for you marriage? Is. It that this is what God has spoken to you, or is it that you miss your husband and came across this as a way to get him back? Or maybe someone told u Divorce is wrong so you stand because u feel that divorce is wrong.
We really have to Dig deep and find out what standing means to us as an individual. If u have not defined what standing means to you than will Falter in your stand or redefine it when the going gets tough.
This is not the same as why do u stand. We will look at that tomorrow. Some of us didn't know what standing meant or had never heard of the word, but we took the position that Divorce is not an option. Some of us we decided this before we even heard of RMM or before we had a close relationship with God. It was an intrinsic instinct that this isn't right.
Standing to me means that I have taken a position on marriage and. I am sticking to it. My position is that when I got married I said for better or worse and I really meant it. But as I found out more and more about standing. Standing to me also means I am standing in the gap for my husband and it is my responsibility as a wife and a child of God to take a firm position that my husband salvation is more important than my restoration. I will not give up on my husband no matter what he may want or feels.
I will stand in the gap for him our children and our marriage.
So every one really define. Why you are standing. Because if u cannot define why it will get blurred as the attacks come and you may decide that it is not worth it, but for me my husband’s salvation is more important.
You have been writing prayers and praises in your journal for a few days. Take a few minutes to go through them and if any have already been answered, please write the date they were answered next to them. This is how you build faith and praise. As you see that God is right there with you every day answering your prayers your faith builds and encourages you more and more.

Thank you for giving me the wisdom to stand in the gap for my husband. Father as we think about what standing means to each of us please guide us in your way and will for our marriage and our lives.
