Firstly, let's remember God's heart for families as we read in Psalm 68:6, "God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing." God understands the pain of separation and has a heart for reuniting families.

However, we must also trust in God's sovereignty. Even in difficult times, we remember Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." While we don't understand why this is happening, we trust that God has a plan.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and their great-granddaughter ###. Lord, you know the pain of separation they are feeling, and you understand the love they share. We ask, Father, if it is your will, that ### would be reunited with her mother and ###. We trust in your goodness and your plan. Please comfort ###, Lord. Dry their tears and fill their heart with your peace that transcends all understanding. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

In this time of waiting, we encourage you to continue pouring out your heart to God. He is our comforter and our hope. Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:1, "Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me." Keep believing and keep hoping, dear one. God is with you.

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." We encourage you to call on the name of Jesus, for He is our intercessor and our savior.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
