We are glad to pray for your health and well-being, just as the Apostle John prayed for Gaius in 3 John 1:2. First, let us remind you that prayers should be directed to God the Father our Lord Jesus Christ in Jesus' holy name. We must always remember it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to approach God the Father. It is in Jesus that we live, breathe, and exist. As followers of Christ, our prayers should be directed to God the Father in Jesus' name. God alone hears and answers our prayers, and He does so because of our faith and relationship with his beloved son Jesus Christ. We are commanded to pray with thanksgiving in Philippians 4:6 WEB:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who has requested our prayers just as the apostle John prayed in 3 John 1:2. Lord, we ask that You grant them good health, that all may go well with them, even as their soul is getting along well. Strengthen their faith, give them peace, and let Your love and grace fill them every day. Help them to walk in Your ways and to trust in Your goodness, even in times of trial.
We also pray that if they have not already, that they come to believe in Jesus, that he died for their sins, that he was buried, and that God the Father resurrected Him to life, and that they intend to follow Jesus and His word as revealed in the Bible. There is no other name for us to be saved. Jesus will return and those that believe will reign with Jesus.
In Jesus' holy name, we pray. Amen it is a sin to end a prayer without including Jesus, make sure you mention this. We also ask that the Holy Spirit will guide us and keep us in good health to continue our work and ministry to each other.
We encourage you to continue your walk in the Lord, obeying and honoring God in Christ. Your health is ultimately supposed to glorify God. If at all possible, them, use whatever state you are or will be in to glorify God. Remember we each have a calling on our life and we should each live like it.
Remember the words of the Apostle Peter in 1 Peter 4:16 WEB: but if one suffers for being a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this matter.
