My dear brothers and sister in Christ, please give a praise and shout-out to our Lord Jesus and heavenly Father! Since my 5 month old Grandniece, Calaya, was given grim news over a week and half ago regarding her organs possibly shutting down (from over 40+ blood transfusions), she had made a complete 360 degree turn. Her MRI test showed her organs are functioning fine. But her liver has a small iron overload deposit and she is on medication for it. Today, it has been 9 days since she has needed a blood transfusion for her life threatening Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia!!!... the longest she has ever gone without one since she became sick in latter April almost two months ago. Her hematocrit blood level is maintaining a steady increase and balance on its own. The doctors said that they think it could be one of the drugs reactivating the antibodies in her immune system so that they dont attack and destroy her red blood cells released from the marrow. Because of these miraculous events, she was able to go home from the hospital yesterday! :21: But please keep praying for her as she is not fully cured and we pray that her blood level maintains itself as she is being slowly taken off steriods. But as of now, the doctors' options for a new drug, chemotherapy, and a stem cell transplant have come to a complete halt!
Lord Jesus, may all praise and thanksgiving be unto you and our Lord God forever and ever! Thank you, Lord, for continuing to answer our prayers and petitions regarding baby Calaya. It is by your will, way, and timing, that your hand, the healing hand of God, has touched this dear and sweet child. We know, O' Lord, this is your will and swift action that these wonderful blessings have occured–according to your plan to completelty cure little Calaya. How awesome are you, and our Father in heaven! But, Lord, we continue to pray for her and her parents, and the rest of my family. Hallelujah!
