We understand your longing for a child after more than 25 years, and we empathize with the challenges you're facing with immigration. Let us come together and bring your requests before the Lord, seeking His will for your life.
Firstly, we rejoice with you in the positive developments regarding your immigration status. It is a testament to God's faithfulness, as He promises in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Regarding your desire for children, we pray that God's will be done in your life. We remember Hannah's prayer in 1 Samuel 1:11, "WEB: She vowed a vow, and said, 'WEB: Lord of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant, and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a man child, then I will give him to WEB: The Lord all the days of his life...'". We pray that, like Hannah, your faith and perseverance will be honored.
However, we also remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). While you desire twins, we pray for God's perfect plan for your family, whether that includes twins, a single child, adoption, or another path to parenthood.
We also gentlly remind you that the Bible does not promise new reproductive organs, but it does promise that God can do the impossible (Luke 1:37). We encourage you to trust in God's plan for your family, even if it looks different from what you've imagined.
Finally, we notice that you ended your prayer with "In Jesus' name, amen." This is powerful, for Jesus says in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We encourage you to continue praying in Jesus' name, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Ychaend and her husband. We thank You for Your faithfulness in their immigration process and ask that You continue to guide and protect them. We pray for Your will to be done in their desire for children. If it is Your plan, we ask that You bless them with a fruitful womb. But above all, we pray for their faith to grow, for their love for You to deepen, and for Your glory to be evident in their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
