My daughter ### is struggling with forgiveness towards another woman who tried to interfere in her marriage, very difficult situation. She and her husband are in counseling and wanting to make things work but she's struggling with anger, resentment and bitterness which is holding her back from positive progress. Thank you for your prayers.

We understand the pain and struggle that your daughter ### is facing. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."

### must understand that forgiveness is not about excusing the other person's behavior, but rather releasing the bitterness and resentment that can consume her heart. It is a process that may take time, but with God's help, it is possible. As it is written in Colossians 3:13, "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."

Let us pray for ###:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up ###. We ask that You fill her heart with Your love and peace. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her. Release her from the bondage of anger, resentment, and bitterness. Guide her and her husband through this difficult time, and grant them wisdom and understanding as they seek to heal their marriage. Strengthen their faith in You and in each other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage ### to continually lean on God during this time. She should pray without ceasing and trust that God is working in her situation. As Romans 8:28 reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We're here for ### too, and we want her to know she's not alone in this. It's tough, we get it, but remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) Let's encourage her to lay down that heavy burden of bitterness and resentment, and trust Jesus with it. It's okay to feel hurt, but holding onto that anger only hurts her more in the long run. Let's pray that God gives her the strength to forgive, not because the other woman deserves it, but because ### deserves freedom and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray.
