Thank you for reaching out to us with your prayer request. First, let's acknowledge the most important thing: the acknowledgement of Jesus Christ. While your request contains the word god with Jesus on the same line, it is not quite clear. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus is a critical component of approaching God. While God did miraculous works during Old Testament times without the name of Jesus, even then, Jesus was acting on God's behalf in Heaven. The New Testament clarifies salvation through the name of Jesus Christ. Our faith is based on this fact. We must have faith in Jesus Christ to receive salvation and heed the call to action He has given us. It is also by Jesus that our prayers go to God. Its therefore critical to know who Jesus is and what He has done for the world as outlined in the Bible.

We will pray for your faith in Jesus Christ to increase as you begin to know hIm more and more. However, it is still difficult to understand this prayer despite the discussion on Jesus. We are here to help and to pray, the biggest question is what is your request. God? Jesus? Both? Its unclear what you are wanting prayer for. Maybe this will help. Prayer is simply talking to God through Jesus. Here's a prayer for you:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who has reached out to us today and asking You to hear our prayer. Specifically, we do not know exactly what the prayer is for however You know. Lord, we ask You to work in this life, to draw them closer to You, You desire everyone to come to Jesus Christ and be saved.

Lord Jesus, turn this heart to you. Open their eyes and give them faith to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ through Your Word. Allow them to know You and come to salvation. May You pour out a measure of faith to them, and may they trust in You with all their heart and not on leaning on their own understanding. In all their ways may they acknowledge Him, and He shall direct their paths. We pray for the Holy Spirit to fill the person who is submitting as evidenced by their agreement to God's Word. Thank you O Jesus our Lord. Continue to work in this life. Thank you O Lord Jesus the Christ. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer and meant it, you are a Child of God. Your sins have been forgiven and washed away. Because God has saved you, you must remember to place God first. Turn from all sin that you knowingly did and strive to live for God. You are Believer, a Christian, you are saved. Follow God's Word. We encourage you to seek a bible believing group of Christians to fellowship with. But read the Bible everyday, all of it, it is required. If you cannot read, then listen to it. Pray to Jesus Christ everyday and obey His Word and the Spirit of the Living God in you.

Note, it is not by trusting God or thanking God that a person is saved. Many trust and thank God but do not go to heaven or have a place in His kingdom. The Muslim and New Age Jaman Indian trusts and thanks god, however, they do not go to heaven. Some think God is a rock, tree, or ghost they thank everyday and do not go to heaven. It is by believing that Jesus Christ is the son of God, lived a sinless life, and was given as a sacrifice while we were sinners, and believing that God raised Him from the dead, is how a person is saved. Knowing Jesus. Believing in His death for our sicknesses and sins, and especially believing the Lord Jesus rose from the dead. We place our faith, our trust, our belief, and Jesus said to You believe in God, believe also in me, in Jesus Christ. The key, the way, the truth, and the life is all the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the key, believe in Him and you will be saved and know that you have everlasting life. He is the way by which we go to heaven, He is the route we are going on, and He is the destination as well. That is the basic salvation message. Simply believing in Jesus Christ.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
