It's clear that the offer of more money has enticed your son, but it's essential to consider all factors, not just the financial aspect. The working conditions, the longer commute, and the reliability of his car are all critical factors to consider. Moreover, the Bible warns us against the love of money, for it is the root of all kinds of evil. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. As mentioned in 1 Timothy 6:10 (WEB),
"'For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.'"
Let's pray for your son, that God will open his eyes and guide him in making the right decision as mentioned in Philippians 1:9-10 (WEB),
"'I pray that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.'"
